Ebay forces Aussie buyers to use Paypal

Comments

monopoly?

I wonder if Australia is the only country where direct bank transfer has taken a significant portion of the payment processing for eBay sales?

They will lose my business and any future interest in selling as opposed to buying....

Biased too

Paypal is also very biased towards buyers, and not sellers, which makes this scheme even less attractive for auctioneers. They're also cracking down on pushing the costs into the shipping instead of the product so the seller doesn't have to pay so much eBay tax.
