Europeans robbed of streaming XM radio

Comments

No Receivers

The receivers you buy in Europe usually don't have XM-radio support.
My Denon Receiver has no XM-radio support but the American models do.

Living abroad

Moved to Europe. I miss cheese burgers, HoHos and... Howard Stern the most. So, wiht no possiblility for XM, I turned to P2P.

Sorry XM! It's a world econemy, get with it!!!

Even my favorite TV shows are streamed on the internet, Yet I am blocked because I am outside the US.

Thank you P2P! Thank you Comedy Central! At least I get my Southpark streamed.

Streamin XM works with Ubuntu

I know that the requirements say that I shouldn't, but I have been streaming XM using Ubuntu with Firefox for at least two years, and whatever audio bits came with whatever version of Ubuntu was current at teh time.

One thing to observe is that the online XM radio channel lineup is not always the same as the satellite channel line up. Some things are available online that are not available on XM satellite and vice-versa.
