Corral the sheeple
This is a tough one for a US satellite state like Sweden which has always prided itself on its freedom and democracy. How do you do your master's bidding while convincing the sheeple that they still call the shots.Tricky balancing act I'd say.
So Pirate Bay must lose, but no big fines, just to prove that Sweden isn't like the US, after all.
You have to understand why the US takes this seriously. They have moved from an economy which used to make things to one which peddles intellectual property that any fool can copy for nothing.
The last thing they need is for their own sheeple to realise how fucked they are.
Look, piracy is bad mmkay?
