Investors head for the hills
STORAGE DISTRIBUTOR Bell Microproducts was delisted from the Nasdaq on Wednesday for failing to file its numbers. Bell’s share price collapsed by $1.15, nearly halving in value.
The SEC decided not to give it additional time to get the results in as the firm had already had an extension but missed its slot on Monday.
Bell said it needed more time and that it was working hard to get the reports completed and would seek a relisting. Bell Micro operates in Europe with Ideal Hardware and OpenPsl in the UK and also has business in Latin America. µ
