Kingston Tech revs up to $4.5 Billion

Flash, ahhh ahhh

NAND FLASH generated $1 billion of Kingston's $4.5 billion revenues last year despite market gluts and price volatility.

Privately owned Kingston Tech said it added $800 million in revenues in the last year. Although it doesn’t disclose profits, a spokes Kingston is reported as attributing $1 billion of its revenues to its five year old Flash memory business.

"In addition to the flourishing Flash division, the company experienced growth in its ValueRAM industry-standard memory, HyperX memory for gamers and PC enthusiasts and a phenomenal jump in its Branded memory in 2007," the company statement gushed.

John Tu, co-founder of Kingston Technology said: "We owe it all to the hard work of our employees and their dedicated support of Kingston’s industry partners, vendors and ultimately, our customers."
